Our Principles

SOLU Counselling and Consulting provides compassionate, evidence-based mental health support, training, and consultation designed to strengthen individuals, teams, and communities.

Who we are

Founded by Carol Ribeiro, a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS), and Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor (RPT-S), SOLU combines clinical expertise with practical, personalized support. Since 2018, Carol and the SOLU team have helped children, teens, adults, and families navigate life’s challenges, heal from trauma, strengthen relationships, and build resilience. Through counseling, professional training, and consultation, SOLU equips people and organizations with the knowledge, skills, and support they need to foster healthier relationships, stronger teams, and more connected communities.

Why SOLU?

‍ ‍SOLU was created from a simple belief: people shouldn't have to navigate difficult seasons alone. Whether that means helping a child find their voice through play, supporting a family through a difficult transition, helping a first responder carry the weight of the job, or equipping a team to create a healthier workplace, Carolina believes meaningful change happens when people feel understood, supported, and equipped. SOLU is about more than treating problems. It's about building strength, connection, and resilience that lasts.
